About

My name is Xavier, a Northern Beaches local and the person behind Detail Craft.

I’ve spent the last couple of years working my way through the Sydney detailing industry, starting out with a mate and eventually moving into high-end maintenance and surface protection at Australian Detailing Services. I’ve been lucky enough to work on everything from high-performance builds to daily family drivers, but I reached a point where I wanted to step out on my own.

My goal with Detail Craft is simple: I wanted to take that high level of skill and experience I’ve gained and bring it directly to people who truly value their cars. For me, it’s not about a quick wash; it’s a systematic craft focused on preserving your car’s value and maintaining that showroom finish using professional-grade products.

I’m bringing a complete professional setup right to your driveway across the Beaches and beyond. If you’re looking for someone who treats your car with the same care you do, I’d love to help.

FAQ

Which areas do you service?
Primary focus is the Northern Beaches, all the way from Manly up to Palm Beach. Also North Shore suburbs, including Mosman and Cremorne. Not sure if I cover your street? Text or call — I’ll see if I can make it to you.
Do I need to be home for the detail?
No. Clients are welcome to leave the car in the driveway, and I can message/call them when it’s done. As long as I have access to the vehicle, an outdoor tap, and a power point, I can complete the whole service while you go about your day.
How often should I have my vehicle detailed?
To properly protect paint from the salt air on the Beaches, a Maintenance Detail every fortnight to a month is highly recommended. If that doesn’t suit, a Full Detail every 2–3 months is the minimum interval to keep the interior fresh and paint fully protected.
How long should the service take?
This depends entirely on the package. For a Craft Clean, it should take 1–2 hours. Maintenance Detail is usually 1.5–3 hours. Full Detail or total transformation: 3–6 hours, depending on car size and condition.
Are you insured?
Yes, fully. I carry Public Liability insurance, which means your vehicle is protected from the moment we arrive until the job is done. We understand that your car is a significant investment, so we treat it with the professional care and safety standards required.
What products do you use?
I primarily use Gyeon, a world leader in automotive surface technology. I choose these products because they are pH neutral and specifically engineered to be safe for all surfaces, including delicate paintwork, matte finishes, and existing ceramic coatings. Unlike high-volume car washes that use “bulk” acidic or alkaline chemicals that can strip protection and dull your trim, my process is designed to clean effectively while preserving the integrity of your car’s surfaces.
Who will be working on my car?
When you book with Detail Craft, you get me personally. I’m a sole trader, not a franchise with rotating staff, so I put my own name and reputation on every finish. This transparency ensures that the same high-end techniques and attention to detail I used in a professional shop are applied to your vehicle every single time.
